JO dyer
Jo Dyer is a writer, literary curator and producer of theatre and film. Most recently Director of Adelaide Writers’ Week, Jo has held leadership roles at national cultural institutions including as CEO of Sydney Writers’ Festival, Executive Producer of Sydney Theatre Company and General Manager of Bangarra Dance Theatre. Through her company Soft Tread Enterprises, Jo has produced acclaimed works that have been staged at venues including the Sydney Opera House, Brooklyn Academy of Music, the National Centre for the Performing Arts in Mumbai and the legendary Tropicana Hotel in Las Vegas. Her films have won awards and screened worldwide, notably at the Berlin International Film Festival. She was a long-serving Chair of the Board of dance theatre company Force Majeure and a founding Director of Sydney’s City Recital Hall.
CLAIRE HARFORD, chair
Claire is a solicitor with experience acting for and advising corporations and individuals in relation to disputes, litigation and criminal liability. Before starting her in career in the law, she held a number of senior leadership roles in the non-profit space, with a particular focus on youth leadership and development.
LISA GRIEVE, secretary
Lisa has 30 years of experience in senior marketing, strategy, project and stakeholder management roles, including event management, brand partnerships and consumer insights within popular music, working at major record labels, music media, experiential events companies, artist management and current holds a role at a First Nations led not-for-profit.
Danielle o'keefe
Danielle O'Keefe is the CEO and AD of The House That Dan Built. She is an interdisciplinary contemporary artist whose site-responsive work with young female singers is being recognised internationally. With 18 years experience working in the Arts, Danielle created The House that Dan Built to create new pathways and platforms for the voices of cross-generation women around Australia.
An experienced lawyer who was trained in a top tier firm and promoted to Senior Associate before moving in-house to lead a legal team in a large telecommunications company. Now working in the financial services industry, Rachel is a passionate leader, who works with commercial objectives in mind and has the ability to prioritise challenges and deliver results for the business.
Sewa is a Gunnedah based musician. Her experience working with young people in the regions began 5 years ago when she started working with Gunnedah Shire Council.
As an Artist and Arts Worker based in the New England North West, learning how an arts board functions has been invaluable for Sewa.
Khushi has over twelve years of experience in transformation, finance and audit advisory, spanning across the Australian and European markets. She has a proven track record of delivering strategic priorities, customer value and simplification through various technological and operating model change programs.
Khushi is also a mentor for university students, developing their leadership, engagement and influencing skills. She is a strong advocate for diversity and inclusion and is passionate about promoting female leadership in all industries.
Delyth joins us from MinterEllison where she is a Director in the Technology Consulting practice in Sydney. Delyth has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Studies and is a senior woman in Tech with over 30 years’ experience successfully advising and supporting Business Leaders and implementing complex global IT Transformation and Innovation programs in the UK and Australia.
She is a passionate advocate for the importance of diversity and inclusion in technology, product design and the workplace and was the Global Lead of the Women in Technology employee network group at Macquarie Group for 3 years. Delyth excels in delivery with empathy and purpose, building strong relationships with clients and teams to achieve common goals.
Kate specialises in environment and planning advice and dispute resolution. Her experience includes work for both private and government clients for urban, industrial, resource and infrastructure development.
Kate provides strategic advice on approval pathways for major projects and advises on environment, planning, resumption, land valuation, human rights, native title and cultural heritage matters. She is experienced in complex litigation, including in the High Court of Australia and as an Associate to a senior judge of the Queensland Planning and Environment Court.
